This group is an outlet for the homemaker, to come together in a commonplace to share the journey of this role we have and share. From single ladies, to young mothers, to grandmothers.
We are homemakers doing and sharing recipes, decorating, gardening, preparing, preserving, fermenting, canning, sewing, repairing, encouraging, and beyond!
You don’t have to be a young mom to add value to this group. In fact we need seasoned mothers and seasoned homemakers to share their wisdom and skills to those younger than them! And for the young ladies who are newly married or single, you have a place here too, you have more value to add than you realize and you can begin your homemaking journey even if your still living in your childhood room in your parents home!
Each of us has much to give and so much value to add to one another and this is a space to do so!
A Commonplace for Homemakers Alike,
Define a Homemaker:
She is the keeper of the home; she works with her hands, she labours in love where no eyes take whittness. She nurtures the members in dwelling of her home, offering comfort and tender care at all hours of the day.
She teaches the young women and the children, guiding and encouraging them along the way.
Her heart is tender and she lacks no ethic of work, she adds value to all those she meets.
She is defined by her strength, dignity and cheerful heart.
A homemaker is not idle but determined and disciplined, her shoulders carry a great weight and her hands are always at work. Her home is safe, peaceful, full of laughter and welcoming.
She is a virtuous women who views her role as a privilege.
As a homemaker there is great value in community with those around us who share a journey similar to our own, stay at home moms, homeschoolers, housewives of all backgrounds, ages and walks.
Someone once said, a true and meaningful statement indeed; 'A home is the greatest institution on this side of heaven.’
Let's gather together and grow together in the most precious place and greatest institution, this side of heaven.
